Web Stats
Web stats programs are really useful for identifying trends for your web site traffic. Every time your web site is visited, the visitor records their presence on the web server and this is stored onto your domain's web log. These stats are then processed server-side to give you a vast insight into your web site visitors.
With each Xengo hosting package, you can:
- View detailed information using AWStats (see below);
- View your bandwidth usage to identify the busiest areas of your web site;
- View detailed information on the last 300 visitors to your web site;
- View the last 300 errors your visitors encountered. This is great for finding 404 errors etc.
AWStats
AWStats is installed on all hosting accounts hosted with Xengo. With AWStats you can view:
- Amount of unique visitors to your web site (on any particular hour, day, month, or year);
- Number of visits to your web site (on any particular hour, day, month, or year);
- How much bandwidth was used;
- A breakdown of your web site's visitors by country;
- The most popular spiders visiting your web site (such as Googlebot);
- The duration your visitors stayed on your web site;
- The most popular pages on your web site, broken down by hits;
- What operating system and web browser your visitors were using;
- The top search key phrases which visitors used to get to your web site.
